Lead Lined Frames

Our hollow metal lead lined frames are each made per the customers' specifications. We use select grade steel and have it custom bent to form the profile that we require. Using this method, we can accommodate any wall thickness and adjust for varying door or glass thicknesses if needed. The interior of the frames are lined with the appropriate thickness of sheet lead from the face extending past the stops. This will create a radiation barrier upon installation of the door or glass and lead-lined drywall. All of our frames are shipped shop-primed and include stud anchors for mounting purposes. Our door frames also include an ASA strike and can be machined for any hinge requirement.
